What We Offer
Women's health screening is a check-up that looks at your overall health alongside concerns specific to women — including cervical health, breast health, bone density, hormonal balance, and gynaecological wellbeing.
Many conditions that affect women — from early-stage cancers to hormonal imbalances and osteoporosis (gradual bone weakening) — develop without any symptoms. A single screening appointment gives you a complete picture of where your health stands.
(Pap smear, HPV testing, pelvic ultrasound) — cervical health is one of the most preventable areas of women's cancer risk. Early detection makes all the difference.
(Mammogram, ultrasound, MastoCheck) — breast cancer is the most common cancer in Singapore women. Regular screening catches changes before they become serious.
(Oestrogen, FSH, LH, testosterone) — hormonal shifts affect energy, mood, weight, fertility, and how you feel day to day. Testing gives you clarity.
(Bone density scan — especially important over 40) — osteoporosis (gradual bone weakening) affects 1 in 3 women over 50. A simple scan identifies risk early.

Gold Standard Cervical Screening
A standard Pap smear involves wiping a swab across the cervix and smearing the cells directly onto a slide. ThinPrep is different — your cell sample is rinsed into a liquid solution instead, which removes blood and mucus that can obscure results. The result: clearer samples, more accurate readings, and fewer tests that need to be repeated.
The liquid preparation removes interference from blood and mucus — giving the lab a much cleaner sample to analyse.
The same liquid sample collected for your ThinPrep Pap smear can also be used for HPV DNA testing — no additional procedure needed.
Traditional Pap smears sometimes produce unclear results that need to be repeated. ThinPrep significantly reduces this.
Is This for You?
Women's health screening benefits every woman — but some groups have a higher risk and should prioritise regular screening. See if any of these apply to you.
A mother, sister, or daughter has had breast or ovarian cancer
Early periods, late menopause, or not having children — these affect lifetime oestrogen exposure and breast cancer risk
Smoking, high alcohol intake, or being overweight — all linked to increased cancer risk
Dense breasts make mammograms harder to read — MastoCheck and ultrasound are especially useful (your doctor can tell you if this applies to you)
Risk of cervical cancer, breast cancer, and osteoporosis (gradual bone weakening) all rise from age 40 onwards — regular screening becomes more important
A past or current HPV infection — HPV is the virus that causes almost all cervical cancers, and can persist without symptoms
Planning a pregnancy — a full health baseline now helps you prepare
Women seeking peace of mind — knowing your health status is valuable at any age
Before You Come In
Schedule at least 2–3 days after your period ends (5 days ideal). Avoid sexual intercourse, creams, medication, spermicides, or tampons for 2 days before. Refrain from alcohol 7 days before your appointment.
Same preparation as your Pap smear — the same sample is used for both tests.
Do not apply perfumes, powders, deodorants, or creams to your chest or underarm areas on the day. Schedule at least 1 week after your period. Pregnant women should avoid this test.
No preparation needed. Wear a comfortable two-piece outfit for easy access.
Fasting (8 hrs). No menstruation (2–3 days before). Refrain from alcohol 7 days before test.
Fast for 8 hours beforehand. Plain water is fine. This ensures accurate results.
Drink 5–6 glasses of plain water 1 hour before your scan. Do not urinate — a full bladder is required for clear imaging.
No fasting required. Fill at least half the container using the mid-stream portion. No overnight urine. Collect at least 5 days after your period ends.
No fasting required. Overnight stool is acceptable. Use the stick provided — scoop a small amount. Avoid red meat and iron supplements 3 days before. Keep sample away from urine or water.
Avoid this test if you are pregnant. Inform us if you had a chest X-ray in the preceding 6 months.
